men2men set up the first men's shed in Cardigan in 2021. Its services to the community has expanded quickly and it now has an amazing site whoich wil enable it to grow over the next few years. men2men are supporting the now very active independent community prganisation to buy the site!

Woodwork

From the original donation of over £14K worth of woodworking machinery, CardiShed has developed a whole range of workshops to engage men in activities such as woodturning, carpentry, making things for the community, repairing furniture etc ...

They now have three skilled woorturners, Pete Colling, Simon Cooper and Matt Hatter.

Man can learn this ancient skill for a small donation towards teaching and materials.

Outdoor Woodworking

men2men are delighted to have engaged an experienced green woodworker who has extended the services now available at Cardished to include working outdoors, making:

  1. Rustic stool and benches

  2. Turning wood bowls on a pole lathe

  3. Carving wood

  4. Learning gree woodwork skills

Music Room

One of our longest serving volunteers and actove memeber of the CardiShed committee Viv Morgan is a an experienced guitar tutor.

CardiShed has converted a lovely room into a music room which Viv will use to teach men Guitar.

It id likley to be used for other projects too
